September 13-Friday September 17 1 Wapalanne Road, Branchville, NJ Accurate wetland delineations are a necessity for many types of land use projects. If you want to expand your business and improve your skills, this intensive workshop will teach you what you need to know and provide you with valuable hands-on delineation experience. You will discuss the current and proposed USACOE wetlands delineation methods, as well as the recent Rapanos decision. This course involves both classroom and field workshops and meets the training requirements for several state wetland certification programs. New Jersey Conservation Foundation Saturday September 18 Bamboo Brook Outdoor Education Center The Mercer County Wildlife Center will present a one-hour wildlife education program including one mammal and three raptors. A nature scavenger hunt will lead young explorers through the woods and meadows of this 100-acre Morris County park. Additional activities may include pumpkin painting and other nature crafts. New Jersey Conservation Foundation Sunday September 26 120-34 Whitesbog Road Hike with New Jersey Conservation staff and explore a beautiful 38-acre property bordering a long stretch of Oldmans Creek in Auburn, Salem County. The property includes a historic home built in 1790, a post and beam barn built in the mid-1800s, and a cabin built by Boy Scouts in 1938. The property was home to the Camp Kimble Boy Scout Camp from 1938-1962.
